Visit Sustainably

As a visitor to Ocean Business, there are many things you can do to be sustainable and reduce your environmental impact. Here are some suggestions:

Bring a reusable water bottle

Instead of buying plastic water bottles, bring your own reusable water bottle and fill up at the water filling stations within Excel. This will help reduce the amount of plastic waste generated at the event.

Use public transport or carshare

Try to use public transport to get to the event if you can. If not, consider a car share with other attendees to reduce the number of cars on the road and lower carbon emissions.

Eat sustainably

If you purchase food onsite look for sustainable options that use local and organic ingredients.

Recycle your plastic, cans, and paper rubbish

Recycling bins are available throughout the show and on the boulevard at Excel. Use them for items such as plastic bottles, cans, and paper.

Use your time at the event to reduce travel at other times

Consider how you can make the most of your time at the event to reduce your travel for meetings at other times of the year.

By taking these steps, you can help make Ocean Business more sustainable and reduce your environmental impact.
