09:00-10:00 Arrival/Registration
Opportunity for students to sign up for one on one ‘speed meetings’ with industry experts. This will be on a first-come first-served basis.
10:00-11:30 Presentations/Welcome (location: Lab M, NOCS)
This session will consist of six 10 minute presentations from colleagues in the industry discussing the wide range of jobs and opportunities available within the marine science and ocean technology industry.
11:30-14:30 Visit the Exhibition
- Tour the co-located Ocean Business exhibition and sign up to attend some of the hands- on training and demonstration sessions to give you a first-hand view of some of the technologies being used today www.oceanbusiness.com
- Meet one on one with companies that are actually recruiting
- Meet with current employees to ask questions, get feedback and advice on their experiences
14:30-16:00 Speed Meetings: (location: Lab M)
This session will consist of 10 minute speed meetings where students can meet face-to-face with industry personnel and find out all they need to know about the industry from qualifications to lifestyle!
